1 - What confidentiality guarantees does alternatives provide?
As an independent service provider, BIOalternatives guarantees the discretion of its staff who works under strict confidentiality rules. Moreover, specific agreements can be contracted before any feasibility study on a case-by-case basis.
2 - What information must be provided with my test compounds?
The products under trial must be provided together with instructions giving the name of the product, the batch number, the storage conditions, the solubilization conditions, the concentrations to be tested and when these are available, the safety precautions to be taken during handling
3 - How much compound does BIOalternatives need to perform the assays?
It depends on the nature of the compounds (powder or liquid) and on the aim of the study. When less than 10 mg of the product is available for the assays, the exact quantity of provided material must be mentioned, so that it can be directly solubilized as to obtain the desired concentration for the assays.
4 - How long are compounds and biological samples kept by BIOalternatives after a study ?
The excess of assay compounds and biological samples (for example: ARN extracts, culture supernatants, histology slides…) are kept for 6 months after the final report is sent. During this period and at his own expenses, the study promoter can mandate a transport company to retrieve the excess of assay compounds and/or the biological samples. At the end of this period of 6 months, all the unclaimed compounds and samples will be systematically destroyed.
5 - Is it possible for my company to receive the benefit of the research “crédit impôt� on the studies carried out by BIOalternatives?
Yes. BIOalternatives is certified with the french research “credit impôt� accreditation as a subcontractor.
6 - How to create a BIOalternatives.com user account ? (Please note that this area is for professionals only)
In order to access the whole content of BIOalternatives.com website, please take a few minutes to complete our form. Just proceed with the following steps:

- Enter a valid email address.
- Click on “Submit�.
- Complete the identification form and click on “Submit�.
After this procedure, a first email will be sent to you entitled “bioalternatives.com, your account� in order to confirm your subscription request.
- Click on the link enclosed in the body text to activate your request; the following message will appear in your internet browser: “Your account must be validated by the website administrator.�
After this step, an administrator will receive and study your request for approval (generally in 24h).
You will then be sent your login and password to access the whole content of bioalternatives.com.
